Mitre Saw

A Mitre Saw, also known as a chop saw, is one of the woodworking essential power tools for home improvement.

This saw is a wonderful tool especially when cutting crown moulding. With a chop saw, you can easily make precise angled cuts.

Basically this is a circular saw placed on a level platform. It can be angled just over 45 degrees either right or left.

Mitre Adjustment - blade will angle 45 degrees right or left.
Blade Size - ranges from 8" to 12".
Quick stopping blade rotation.

Safety Features

On/off switch must be depressed for saw to function.
Check blade to make sure it is sharp and properly fastened to the arbor.
Unplug the saw before changing blade.
Allow the blade to do the work. Don't pull it through the wood too fast.
Never dismantle the blade guard.
